Role: Junior Content Writer – Fashion & Social Media

Contract length: Part-time, 10 hours per week (two 5-hour days)

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application

Location: Local positions available. In-person role based at a design studio (parking reimbursed).

What You’ll Be Doing

This role offers hands-on experience in fashion marketing and content creation. You’ll work on a variety of tasks including:

Help plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and others. Photograph and film clothing, behind-the-scenes studio activities, and events. Edit short-form videos using tools like CapCut and Canva. Write captions, develop content ideas, and help maintain a consistent brand voice. Research fashion trends, creators, and potential collaboration opportunities. Support product launches, photoshoots, and in-person events. Assist with outreach to influencers and other creative industry contacts. Track content performance and help identify what resonates with audiences.

Skills/background needed:

A genuine interest in fashion, content creation, or digital marketing is important. Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends is helpful. You should be comfortable taking photos and filming short-form videos. Basic experience with editing tools such as CapCut or Canva is useful but not required – full training will be provided. You should be creative, organized, and comfortable working independently. Strong written communication and attention to detail are essential. A willingness to learn and contribute new ideas is more important than perfect prior experience.

You’ll learn how fashion brands develop and execute marketing strategies, how products are designed, produced, photographed, and launched, and how to tell brand stories through consistent visual identity and voice. You’ll develop skills in social media planning, audience growth, and performance analysis. You’ll work directly with creative professionals in a fast-moving business environment and build portfolio-ready work that showcases your abilities.

Previous marketing experience is helpful but not required. A strong creative eye and willingness to learn are what matter most.
