We’re looking for a talented copywriter to join our creative team on a part-time, fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves writing engaging content and wants to build a portfolio in a supportive, collaborative environment.
About the role:
You’ll write and edit original copy for a variety of marketing and communications projects. Your day-to-day work includes researching client needs, interviewing stakeholders to understand their audiences, and creating compelling content across multiple formats. You’ll brainstorm ideas with the team, refine your work based on feedback, and see your writing come to life on social media and other channels. With a typical turnaround of a few days per project, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where your creativity directly impacts client success.
What we’re looking for:
You should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. A keen eye for great writing, strong research skills, and the ability to adapt your tone to different audiences are essential. Experience with social media or content marketing is a bonus, as is familiarity with style guides and proofreading. Above all, we need someone who’s a team player, self-motivated, and excited to learn and grow.
Skills/background needed: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related field preferred. 1+ years of copywriting experience and a portfolio of previous work required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro is helpful.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
