About This Role
We are seeking a Grant Writer to help identify and secure funding opportunities for our organization. In this fully remote role, you will research potential funders, develop compelling grant proposals, and work with the leadership team to communicate our mission and impact.
This is an ideal opportunity to develop grant writing expertise in a mission-driven environment. Full training and support will be provided as you grow into the role.
What You’ll Do
• Research and identify foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
• Develop and write clear, compelling grant proposals
• Collaborate with leadership team on messaging and case-making
• Build relationships with institutional funders
• Develop and execute grant strategy to support long-term sustainability
Skills/background needed
No prior grant writing experience is required. You should have:
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to research and organize information effectively
• Interest in nonprofit funding and mission-driven work
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfort working independently and collaborating with a team
