About This Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Report Writer to join our finance team. You’ll develop and maintain reporting solutions that help our organisation make better decisions. This is a fully remote role where you’ll work with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver accurate, actionable reports.
What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards within our enterprise reporting system
• Work with Finance, HR, and operational teams to understand reporting requirements
• Create financial and operational reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
• Develop custom reports using advanced reporting techniques
• Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot data issues
• Analyse financial data and recommend reporting improvements
• Ensure reporting aligns with accounting compliance standards
• Document report logic and maintain reporting standards
• Train team members on reporting system functionality
• Collaborate on system improvements and integrations
Skills/background needed
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Experience with enterprise reporting systems or reporting platforms
• Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts, General Ledger, and accounting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience creating calculated fields and custom reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience with financial analysis and forecasting tools
• Knowledge of audit support processes
• SQL or other programming experience
• Experience integrating reporting systems with other business software
