Roles: Scientific Writer
About the Role:
We are seeking a Scientific Writer to support our research and communications team. You will work on-site, collaborating closely with scientists and researchers to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling written content for diverse audiences. Full training will be provided, and this is an excellent opportunity to develop your scientific writing skills in a professional research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help edit and refine scientific manuscripts, white papers, technical briefs, and grant proposals
- Collaborate with research teams to develop clear narratives that align with publication standards
- Translate technical research into accessible content for regulatory submissions, funding bodies, and public communication
- Review and improve the structure, clarity, and scientific accuracy of documents
- Ensure consistency with journal and funding agency guidelines
- Provide editorial input on publishing and communications strategies
Skills/background needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to understand and communicate scientific concepts clearly
- Familiarity with scientific publishing standards and formatting
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate in person with teams
- Experience writing for both technical and non-technical audiences is a plus
- Any experience with grant or funding proposal writing is valuable but not required
