We are seeking a detail-oriented writer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly, accurately, and persuasively.
This role involves reviewing case-related information and drafting well-organized, compelling, and professional legal documents. No legal experience is required—we welcome applicants with strong writing backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow within the legal field. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Draft clear, persuasive, and well-organized legal documents
- Review medical records, bills, case documents, and supporting evidence
- Organize and summarize relevant case information
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and properly formatted
- Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and other legal team members
- Manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines
- Conduct research as needed to support document preparation
- Maintain organized and confidential case files
Skills/background needed:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and email
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Previous legal or writing experience is helpful but not required
