We’re hiring a Part-Time Live Chat Support Agent. In this role, you’ll provide friendly, professional support to customers through chat, email, phone, and social media. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure every customer has a great experience while helping drive business growth. Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, phone, and social media in a polite and professional manner
• Work with customers daily to build and maintain positive relationships
• Ask clarifying questions to understand customer issues and concerns
• Maintain accurate account information and customer records
• Find solutions that satisfy customer requests and prevent follow-up issues
• Process orders and assist with scheduling
• Handle routine customer issues including account setup, order input, and general pricing questions
• Manage difficult customer situations calmly using basic de-escalation techniques
• Process payments and handle basic administrative tasks
• Support the creation of new customer accounts
• Meet performance standards as outlined in company guidelines
Skills/background needed:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfortable with data entry and typing
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to stay calm and professional when handling customer concerns
• Strong organizational skills
• No prior experience required — full training provided
