We are seeking a healthcare professional to serve as a Medical Content Reviewer, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality assurance across digital health and wellness content.
This role focuses on clinical fact-checking, compliance verification, and risk mitigation. You will review medical content for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to healthcare publishing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Content Review
Review blogs, landing pages, scripts, FAQs, and emails for clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, evidence-based claims, and any misleading or risky statements. Identify medical misinformation, outdated guidelines, and unsafe advice.
Compliance Assurance
Ensure all content meets industry standards for healthcare publishing, including accuracy of medical claims, appropriate use of medical terminology, and alignment with current healthcare guidelines. Flag any content that poses legal, medical, or regulatory risks.
Documentation & Validation
Provide review summaries and clinical notes where necessary. Verify sources using reputable medical databases and resources. Suggest corrections and updated clinical guidelines.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work with content writers, medical directors, and compliance leads. Help train writers on medical accuracy standards and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Skills/background needed:
You must hold an active license as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, physician, or pharmacist. Strong clinical reasoning, comfort reading medical guidelines and regulations, clear writing and editing ability, and the ability to identify and correct factual inaccuracies are essential.
Experience with telemedicine, behavioral health evaluations, or healthcare content review is valued but not required. Full training will be provided.
Scope & Workload
You will review approximately 10–50 articles per month, provide edits and compliance notes, and participate in regular quality assurance reviews. Fast turnaround is expected when content requires urgent updates.
Contract length: Ongoing part-time position
