We are seeking a Multimedia Journalist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling and ready to launch a rewarding career in journalism.
In this role, you will produce content across multiple platforms, including anchoring newscast segments and reporting on stories in the field. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll develop skills in shooting, editing, writing, interviewing and live reporting.
What You’ll Do:
• Anchor weekend newscast segments
• Report and produce stories across television, web and social media platforms
• Shoot and edit multimedia content
• Conduct interviews and develop source relationships
• Manage social media presence and understand best practices
• Collaborate with producers, photographers and editorial staff
• Work with live broadcast equipment and technology
Skills/background needed: Excellent writing and storytelling ability. Comfort working on camera. Ability to shoot and edit video. Strong social media knowledge. Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment. A degree in journalism or related field is helpful but not required—talented candidates with proven passion for news are encouraged to apply.
