Process Writer – Operations (Hybrid)

Role and Scope of Position: Create, maintain, and publish detailed operational procedures and guidelines. Selected candidates may be asked to submit a writing sample.

What You’ll Do:

You will develop, revise, and publish comprehensive instructions and procedures for system operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and update operational procedures to ensure they reflect current system configurations and regulatory requirements

• Identify changes in procedures and regulations, then incorporate necessary updates into documentation

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather information for procedure development

• Perform periodic reviews of operational procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance

• Participate in event reviews and prepare incident analyses as requested

• Support compliance audits by gathering documentation and evidence

Skills and Background Needed:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of document management systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in power distribution or transmission operations

• Prior procedure writing experience

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid role. You will work on-site for a portion of your week and from home for the remainder. You must be able to travel between assigned locations as needed and be available for emergency response assignments. A valid driver’s license is required.

Contract Length: Full-time, permanent
