Product Marketing Writer – Entry Level Remote

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive writer to support product marketing and go-to-market initiatives. You’ll work on product launches, competitive research, market insights, and sales enablement materials.

You’ll join an established marketing function with proven processes and strong cross-functional partnerships. You won’t need to build everything from scratch – instead, you’ll apply existing foundations and find ways to make the work more effective.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll personally create the materials that bring launches to market. That could mean writing launch plans, crafting launch communications, creating competitive comparison guides, developing training content, or using tools to build workflows that help teams work more efficiently.

We’re looking for someone who asks thoughtful questions, spots opportunities to improve work, and takes initiative to make those improvements happen.

What You’ll Do

Launch and go-to-market support

Assist with end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution for new products and features. Help define launch goals, target audiences, key messages, timelines, and success measures. Develop core messaging that clearly communicates what is launching, who it’s for, and why it matters. Support cross-functional launch coordination across teams. Help identify launch risks, track progress, and capture learnings from each launch.

Market and customer insight

Build understanding of customers, market trends, and customer needs through conversations, research, and collaboration with customer-facing teams. Help gather insights about what customers need, what objections they raise, and what market opportunities exist. Turn research into clear, actionable recommendations. Develop regular updates that help teams understand market changes and what they mean for the business.

Competitive intelligence

Support competitive research including competitor positioning, capabilities, and go-to-market approaches. Gather insights from sales conversations, customer feedback, market research, and competitor activity. Turn competitive insights into practical guidance that helps teams differentiate and respond to objections. Maintain competitive resources and share market updates with relevant teams on a regular schedule.

Sales enablement

Create and maintain sales support materials including pitch decks, competitive comparison guides, talking points, objection-handling guides, demo scripts, one-pagers, and customer case studies. Help plan and deliver product training and market updates for sales teams. Partner with sales leaders to identify knowledge gaps and areas where additional support is needed. Translate market, customer, and competitive insights into clear guidance that sales teams can use in real conversations.

Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams from launch planning through execution. Help ensure teams have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. Collaborate on campaigns and customer-facing materials. Support launch communications, adoption programs, and customer proof development.

Skills and Background Needed

This is an entry-level role. You do not need prior marketing experience – we provide full training and support. What we’re looking for:

Strong writing and communication skills – ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely. Experience creating written materials (blog posts, reports, guides, emails, or similar content) is helpful but not required.

Comfort learning new products and software tools quickly. Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, or project management platforms is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities without losing detail or quality.

Strong presentation and facilitation skills, or willingness to develop them.

Curious mindset – you ask questions to understand what customers need and what the market is changing.

Comfort working with people from different teams and backgrounds.

Data-informed thinking – ability to look at metrics and performance to understand what’s working and what needs improvement.

Nice to Have

Experience or interest in software, fitness, wellness, or payments industries. Experience supporting multiple products with different audiences. Familiarity with CRM systems, team chat tools, or marketing platforms.

This role connects all those pieces – bringing products to market, turning insights into action, and enabling teams to compete and win.
