We’re looking for a Proposal Writer to join our team and help develop compelling proposals in response to business solicitations. In this position, you’ll be responsible for creating clear, well-organized proposals that communicate our capabilities and value to clients. You’ll work closely with team members across the organization to craft narratives that win new business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop proposals from start to finish, including various proposal types and capability statements. Review solicitation documents to identify requirements and compliance obligations. Write, edit, and proofread proposal content including executive summaries, technical narratives, management plans, and personnel information. Coordinate with team members to gather information and ensure accuracy. Maintain and update a library of reusable proposal content and reference materials. Ensure all proposals are submitted on time, properly formatted, and fully compliant with requirements. Support review processes and incorporate lessons learned into future proposals.
Skills/background needed: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive writing. Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently with minimal supervision. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment. No prior proposal writing experience required — full training will be provided.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent position
