About this role:
We’re looking for a Report Writer to join our team in a fully remote position. You’ll work with data from multiple systems to create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help teams make better decisions. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, automating processes, and presenting findings in clear, easy-to-understand formats.
No prior experience is required—we provide full training on all tools and systems. If you’re detail-oriented, curious about data, and enjoy solving problems, this could be a great fit.
What you’ll do:
Gather reporting needs from team members and stakeholders
Extract and analyze data from different systems and databases
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools
Check data for accuracy and spot any inconsistencies or quality issues
Automate routine reporting tasks to save time and reduce manual work
Identify trends and patterns, then share recommendations for improvement
Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in clear, visual ways
Maintain reporting systems and provide technical support when needed
Handle sensitive information responsibly and follow data security guidelines
Skills/background needed:
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to gather information from multiple sources and make sense of it
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Access, or similar reporting and data tools (we’ll train you)
Comfortable learning automation tools to streamline workflows
Strong communication skills—able to explain technical information clearly to people with different backgrounds
Entry-level candidates with foundational knowledge in data analysis, computer science, or information systems are encouraged to apply
Education and experience:
Associate’s degree in computer science, data analytics, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of three years of experience in data reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role
Any combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered
