We are looking for a dedicated Service Coordinator to act as the liaison between the company and customers.
As a Service Coordinator, you will ensure customer needs are met, coordinate transactions, and provide cost and time estimates. You will track repairs and their causes, schedule appropriate service technicians, and process customer warranties. This is a great entry-level opportunity to develop strong customer service and communication skills while learning to translate customer concerns into clear reports for the service team.
Responsibilities:
Developing strong customer relationships through successful management of products and service delivery. Maintaining computerized customer profile information. Monitoring customer records to check for scheduled servicing and arranging appointments. Developing cost estimates and scheduling appropriate service technicians. Conveying all necessary information regarding costs, parts, work, and technician assignments to customers and management. Meeting with customers to discuss their requirements and relaying those requirements to the service team. Contacting customers regarding additional work to relay details and extra costs. Entering repair job details and preparing repair instructions and parts lists for the service team. Checking warranties and insurance coverage. Test operating equipment prior to release. Releasing repaired equipment to customers and explaining the work done and costs to ensure satisfaction.
Skills/background needed:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Computer literacy and knowledge of office software programs. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong record keeping and organizational abilities. The ability to understand and translate technical issues from customers’ non-technical descriptions. No prior experience required—full training will be provided.
