About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. You will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring that all service requests are accurately documented and clearly communicated. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment. No prior experience necessary—full training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing
• Greet customers upon arrival and assess their service needs
• Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately in the system
• Provide clear explanations of services required, including maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure effective communication regarding diagnostics and repair processes
• Prepare service estimates while aligning with customer expectations
• Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and any additional services needed
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions
• Assist in managing inventory levels for parts and supplies
• Stay updated on industry trends and new automotive technologies
