We’re looking for an entry-level Service Writer to join our team. No prior experience is required – we provide full training to help you succeed in this role.

About the Role:
As a Service Writer, you’ll play a key role in managing service operations. Your main goal will be to help optimize how we serve our customers while supporting the service team to meet their goals and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage work orders from creation through invoicing and closing
- Support the service team by scheduling and assigning jobs based on employee skills
- Review work orders for accuracy before billing
- Work with management to identify ways to improve our processes
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain awareness of warranty and product improvement programmes, ensuring all paperwork is submitted on time
- Assist the Parts Department when needed, helping customers in person or by phone
- Uphold professional standards and represent the company positively in the community
- Participate in company training opportunities to build your skills and knowledge
Skills/background needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
