We’re looking for an entry-level Service Writer to join our team. You’ll be the friendly point of contact between customers and our service department, helping customers understand their repair and maintenance needs while building great relationships.
This is a perfect role if you’re organized, enjoy working with people, and want to grow in a customer-facing position. No prior experience is necessary – we’ll provide full training.
What You’ll Do
Listen to customers describe their vehicle issues and document them clearly on repair orders.
Check warranty and service contract details and explain what’s covered to customers in a simple, friendly way.
Create repair estimates by pricing materials, supplies, and labor time.
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process.
Suggest helpful maintenance and accessories based on what the service team identifies.
Complete a final vehicle check before delivery to ensure all work is done correctly and the vehicle is clean.
Process extended warranties and maintenance contracts from start to finish.
Send repair orders to the service department.
Skills/background needed
Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping customers. Organizational ability to manage multiple repair orders. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is helpful but not required – we’ll train you. A clean driving record is preferred.
