Social Media Administrator – Part Time

Role: Social Media Administrator

Contract length: Part-time, contract-based

Location: Fully remote

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our social channels. This is an operational role focused on keeping content organized, posted on schedule, and tracking what resonates with our audience. You’ll manage the content calendar, handle platform posting, monitor community engagement, and stay on top of emerging trends and formats to inform our content strategy.

While this role does not require you to create original content, you will need to understand our audience deeply—what captures their attention, what they engage with, and what they scroll past. Your research, organization, and trend awareness will free up our creative team to focus on what only they can do.

Key responsibilities

• Research trends, sounds, and formats across social platforms and translate insights into actionable ideas for the creative team

• Own the full content calendar—scheduling, sequencing, and flagging anything at risk of delays

• Execute posting across all active platforms on schedule, maintaining consistent timing and cadence

• Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement, responding promptly or routing to the appropriate team member

• Manage platform-specific operational tasks to maintain account health and performance

• Handle initial outreach and conversations with potential collaborators and partners

• Support community management and moderation efforts

Skills and background needed

• Demonstrated experience managing social media channels professionally (prior experience with lifestyle, fashion, or accessories brands is a plus, but not required)

• Strong familiarity with current social platforms, including trending formats, sounds, and algorithm behavior

• Excellent organizational skills—comfortable tracking multiple moving pieces and knowing what’s due next, what’s overdue, and what needs attention

• Comfortable working independently and taking on both visible and behind-the-scenes operational work

• A genuine understanding of your target audience and how to communicate with them

• Ability to stay current with platform updates and evolving best practices

What you’ll get

• Flexible, fully remote work arrangement

• A collaborative, fast-moving team where your organizational work directly supports the brand

• Opportunity to develop expertise in platform operations and community management

Who should apply

You don’t need years of experience to succeed in this role. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, passionate about social media, and eager to learn platform mechanics and audience behavior, we’d like to hear from you. Full training will be provided on our platforms, tools, and processes.

Open to applicants worldwide.
