About this role:
This is an entry-level position designed for those new to social media work. You’ll support a team managing clients’ social media presence, helping with strategy, content creation, and community engagement. Full training is provided—no prior experience necessary.
This is a full-time role with the potential for extension and growth within the organisation.
What you’ll do:
Account Management
• Support the team with executing social media strategy for assigned clients
• Maintain and grow social media communities, engage with customers across digital channels
• Assist with social advertising strategy and campaign execution
• Work with the team to create and coordinate content on schedule
• Maintain the content calendar and manage post scheduling
• Help establish metrics and track social media performance using analytics tools
• Monitor industry trends and stay informed of the latest developments
• Research ways to improve social media platforms and how they work together
• Learn each client’s brand voice, tone, and business objectives
Team Collaboration
• Work with your team to develop and execute content and creative strategy
• Review content to ensure it aligns with strategy
• Contribute positively to team culture and atmosphere
• Build professional, respectful relationships with colleagues
Skills and background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in a digital, social, or multimedia-related field (preferred)
• Understanding of, or strong desire to learn, social media best practices and analytics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational ability
• Goal-oriented with the ability to focus on results
• Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Resourceful and solutions-focused approach
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am–6 pm
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application. Overtime eligible.
Contract length: Full-time, 4 months with potential for extension
