About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Social Media and Communications Specialist to own and run our entire social media presence. This is a role with real impact: you’ll build our short-form video presence from the ground up, create compelling content for our LinkedIn feed, support executive messaging, maintain our presence on other key platforms, and ensure every product launch and company milestone reaches the right audience.
You’ll work closely with our Communications team and collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, and design to tell the stories that matter most.
What You’ll Do
• Build and manage a unified content calendar across all social platforms, planning around product launches, company moments, and industry events while staying nimble enough to react to trending conversations in real time
• Launch and grow our short-form video channel from the ground up—develop content ideas, shoot and edit videos, and partner with creators and industry voices to extend reach
• Manage company social accounts with consistent, on-brand posting and real-time engagement with followers
• Support executive messaging by creating tone-appropriate content, managing publishing schedules, and monitoring engagement
• Source stories from across the company by partnering with sales, customer success, and other teams to find and develop content from customer wins, product milestones, and team highlights
• Identify and coordinate with creators, industry voices, and influencers to amplify company stories
• Create on-brand visual content using Canva and similar design tools; shoot and edit short-form video on mobile or with editing software
• Track performance across all channels, analyse what’s working, and make recommendations on where to focus effort
• Support broader communications and marketing by helping draft supporting content and materials as needed
Skills/Background Needed
Must Have:
• Experience managing social media accounts professionally or in a digital marketing context
• Strong writing skills and a natural feel for different communication styles and audience tones
• Hands-on ability to create graphics and visual content using design tools like Canva
• Experience shooting and editing short-form video on mobile devices or with accessible editing software
• Comfortable using social media analytics and insights to measure what works
• Project management skills: ability to manage calendars, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver on tight timelines
• Ability to move quickly on trends and opportunities while keeping brand safety in mind
• Genuine curiosity about the industries we work in and a willingness to learn
Nice to Have:
• Experience launching a short-form video channel or account from scratch
• Existing relationships with creators or industry influencers
• Experience supporting an executive’s personal brand or messaging
• Familiarity with regulated industry communications
