Social Media & Communications Specialist – Entry Level (Remote)

We’re looking for an entry-level Social Media & Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage and grow our social media presence, create engaging content, and help build our online community. You’ll be the voice of our brand across social platforms, working with different teams to develop strategies that resonate with our audiences.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest. Create, edit, and repurpose engaging content tailored to each platform while following brand guidelines. Write compelling copy for social posts and respond to direct messages as the voice of our brand.

Monitor social media channels, track engagement metrics, and prepare reports to measure the success of our campaigns. Stay up to date with current events, trending topics, and new social media features to keep our content fresh and innovative.

Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation on content planning and publishing. Help coordinate social media best practices and provide guidance to other teams. Assist with interview coordination and help write feature stories and press releases when needed.

Support crisis communications efforts by monitoring social channels and helping respond to community issues as part of a coordinated team approach.

Skills/Background Needed:

Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest is helpful. Basic experience with content calendars, scheduling tools, or analytics dashboards is a plus but not required. We’ll provide full training on any tools you haven’t used before.

You should be organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and comfortable meeting deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is important. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines matter.

What We Offer:

Full training provided to help you succeed. Work fully remote from anywhere, giving you flexibility and the ability to work from home.
