Position Summary
We’re looking for a creative, organized person to help bring our mission to life through engaging visual content, compelling storytelling, and consistent branding across our digital channels. As our primary content and design resource, you’ll create engaging materials for social media, email, websites, and digital campaigns. You’ll also assist with photography, video, and content development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enthusiastic about visual communication, and ready to learn. No prior experience required—we’ll provide full training.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Create high-quality visual content for social media, email, websites, and digital platforms
• Design branded materials including social media graphics, flyers, newsletters, presentations, and campaign materials
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all digital communications and platforms
• Develop and organize reusable templates, brand resources, and digital marketing assets
• Create, schedule, and manage content for social media, email, website, and other communication platforms
• Identify opportunities to increase reach and engagement across social media and digital channels
• Keep website content current, accurate, and engaging
• Manage information within communication platforms and marketing databases
• Capture, edit, organize, and manage photography and video content
• Collaborate with team members to gather information and translate it into clear, compelling visual communications
• Support marketing campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community outreach through creative materials
• Assist with promotional activities and event-related communications
• Build positive working relationships with team members, partners, and community contacts
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
Skills and Background You’ll Need
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), or similar platforms
• Experience or familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Basic photography, videography, and photo/video editing skills (or willingness to learn)
• Familiarity with email marketing software and website content management systems is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, creative, and proactive approach to problem-solving
A degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Prior experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus, but we welcome candidates from all backgrounds.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote, work-from-home role. You’ll collaborate regularly with team members across different departments via video calls, email, and team chat apps. Occasional flexible hours may be needed to support organizational needs, but your schedule will be discussed with you in advance.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
