Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to help tell our brand story through engaging video, graphics, and written content. If you love creating short-form videos, taking photos, and turning stories into content that resonates with people, we want to hear from you.
This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll film on location, edit videos, create graphics, write captions, and spot content opportunities as they happen. You’ll work closely with our team in a fast-paced environment where real-time opportunities often become great social media moments.
Our goal is to create content that builds trust, showcases expertise, increases brand awareness, and generates real opportunities for growth.
What You’ll Do
• Film, edit, and produce short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
• Attend property viewings, events, and community activities to capture content opportunities
• Create property walk-through videos, teasers, and other promotional content
• Develop educational videos that explain concepts and tips to viewers
• Create community-focused content highlighting neighbourhoods, local businesses, events, and lifestyle
• Turn statistics and information into visually engaging, easy-to-understand posts
• Edit video with captions, transitions, music, and on-screen text
• Create graphics, carousels, stories, and branded social media posts
• Write engaging captions and calls to action that fit our brand voice
• Help develop and organize a weekly and monthly content plan
• Stay on top of current social media trends while keeping content professional and on-brand
• Repurpose content across multiple social media platforms to maximize reach
• Monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements for future content
• Keep photo and video files organized for future use
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. We provide full training. You should have or be willing to learn:
• Basic video editing using tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar software
• Familiarity with Canva or basic graphic design
• Photography and videography basics
• Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Understanding of social media trends, engagement tactics, and hashtags
• Strong writing, spelling, and communication skills
• Ability to make professional content feel authentic and personable
• Comfort filming and directing people on camera
• Reliability, organization, and confidence in a fast-paced environment
Experience in marketing, hospitality, local business, or related fields is a plus, but not required.
