About the Role
As a Social Media Content Writer, you’ll work from home to create compelling, platform-native content across social media channels. You’ll develop content strategies, write engaging captions and posts, manage community interactions, and help execute campaigns that drive real business results. What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Strategy
• Create engaging, platform-native content for social media channels including captions, scripts, and creative briefs• Develop content ideas that feel timely, culturally relevant, and aligned with business goals• Write clear, compelling copy that simplifies complex information into engaging stories• Collaborate with creative teams to develop content concepts and bring them to life
Community & Engagement
• Respond thoughtfully to community comments and messages• Monitor social trends and audience behavior to identify new opportunities• Help build authentic communities and strengthen brand connection• Support campaign execution across social channels
Performance & Learning
• Track how content performs and learn what resonates with audiences• Translate insights into ideas for improving future content• Stay curious about emerging trends and new platform features• Experiment with different content formats and ideas
Skills/background needed: No prior social media experience required. We’re looking for strong writing skills, genuine enthusiasm for social media and digital culture, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn. You should be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and ready to collaborate with team members across different departments.
