About the role:
This is a hybrid front desk and social media role in a fast-paced beauty studio environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, manage day-to-day operations at the desk, and help build the studio’s social media presence. You’ll move between client-facing work, behind-the-scenes organization, and content creation — all in the same day.
What you’ll do:
Front Desk & Client Experience
• Welcome clients and create a warm, welcoming studio experience
• Manage appointments, reschedules, cancellations and client questions
• Answer phones, texts, emails and messages
• Handle check-in, check-out, payments and rebooking
• Manage the flow of appointments during busy periods
• Build relationships with regular clients
• Handle client concerns professionally and helpfully
• Communicate with team members throughout the day
• Keep the front desk and client areas organized and stocked
Social Media & Brand Support
• Plan and maintain a consistent social media calendar
• Create and publish Instagram content, Stories and Reels
• Capture photos and short-form video within the studio
• Write engaging captions and posts
• Monitor comments and messages, and respond in a timely way
• Identify trends that fit with the brand
• Track which content is performing well and resonates with followers
• Keep the brand consistent between online and in-person experiences
Skills/background needed:
• Previous experience working a busy front desk in a salon, spa, beauty retailer, or similar appointment-based business (required)
• Previous experience managing social media for a business or brand (required)
• Comfort with Instagram, Stories, Reels and short-form video
• Experience in the beauty industry (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with appointment booking systems is helpful
• Comfort with Canva, Google Workspace and basic spreadsheets is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Friendly, detail-oriented and dependable
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to take initiative and learn on the job
