Role Overview
We’re looking for an entry-level Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage our social media communities, monitor conversations for insights, and track performance metrics across all platforms. You’ll be the voice of our brand online, engaging with our audience daily and helping to build meaningful connections.
This is a full-time, on-site position. You’ll work Monday through Friday in a collaborative environment with a supportive team.
Responsibilities
Community Management:
• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and tags across social media platforms daily• Build and nurture our online audience while reinforcing our brand voice• Respond to community questions and feedback promptly and professionally• Identify and escalate product or service questions to the right team members• Monitor media coverage and share relevant updates on social media• Help maintain our social media moderation and safety protocols• Monitor compliance with social media guidelines and flag any brand risks
Social Listening:
• Track social media conversations to surface insights for marketing, sales, product, and analytics teams• Build and maintain listening queries to capture relevant data• Share insights with team members to improve our content and strategy
Reporting and Analytics:
• Track and analyze community engagement metrics to identify improvement opportunities• Monitor organic and paid social content performance• Create regular reports: weekly team updates, monthly management reports, and quarterly reviews• Help measure program effectiveness and suggest improvements
Cross-Functional Support:
• Share platform updates and emerging social media trends with the team• Support the social media team during busy periods and campaigns• Work collaboratively across departments to align strategy
Skills/background needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Sociology, Psychology, English, or a related field• 2+ years of experience in social media, public relations, customer service, communications, or a related role• 1+ years of experience with a social media monitoring or reporting tool (such as Sprout Social)• Strong organizational and time-management skills• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a customer-focused approach• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel• Experience with project management tools is a plus• Ability to read and write in Spanish and/or French is a plus
