We’re looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to help bring engaging content to life online! You’ll play a key role in creating and sharing content, and building a connected community across digital platforms.
You’ll work with a local team to highlight exciting opportunities and experiences while keeping social channels active, consistent, and engaging.
What you’ll do:
Capture and create photo and video content for social media posts, reels, and stories across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Edit content using accessible tools and publish across channels in line with brand guidelines. Manage day-to-day social media activity by posting regularly, engaging with followers, and responding to comments and messages. Collaborate with team members to promote events and campaigns. Brainstorm and execute creative content ideas. Maintain a consistent, fun, and inclusive brand voice. Track basic performance metrics to understand what content resonates with your audience. Assist with on-site event support when needed to capture key moments.
Skills/background needed:
Passion for social media and community building. Familiarity with social platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Basic photo and video editing skills (using tools like Canva, phone editing apps, or similar). Strong communication and organizational skills. A creative mindset with an eye for engaging, shareable content. Comfort working evenings and weekends to capture live events. Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently. No prior professional experience required—we provide full training.
Bonus experience:
A strong personal or professional social media presence. Experience creating content for brands, events, or communities. Knowledge of current trends and viral-style content. Passion for sports, fitness, or community events.
Working conditions:
Hours: Flexible, part-time. Evenings and weekends required for event coverage. Location: Mix of on-site work at local venues and events, plus remote work for editing and scheduling. Occasional local travel to events.
