About This Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to help create and manage engaging content across social media platforms. This is a paid remote position perfect for anyone interested in social media, digital marketing, and content creation—no prior professional experience needed.

You’ll work independently to produce posts, support marketing campaigns, and help grow our online presence. Full training will be provided, and you’ll have the flexibility to work from anywhere with an internet connection.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and design social media posts using Canva templates
  • Develop engaging content for Instagram and TikTok
  • Write clear, engaging captions for promotional and educational posts
  • Support marketing campaigns aligned with organisational goals
  • Schedule and publish content consistently across platforms
  • Adapt and repurpose content for different social media formats
  • Share creative ideas for content themes and engagement strategies
  • Maintain consistent branding across all visual and written content
  • Monitor basic engagement metrics such as likes, views, and comments
  • Meet weekly content deadlines independently

Skills and Background Needed

No professional experience required—we’re looking for enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Essential:

  • Strong interest in social media and content creation
  • Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok (as a user)
  • Willingness to learn Canva (we’ll guide you)
  • Creativity and ability to turn ideas into visual content
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet weekly deadlines without constant supervision

Nice to Have:
