Social Media & Marketing Assistant – Part Time (Entry Level)

We are seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team with a variety of creative and administrative tasks. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience across social media management, digital marketing, event coordination, and website content.

About This Role

You’ll work with our marketing team on daily community engagement, content creation, and campaign support. No prior experience is required—we provide full training and mentorship throughout. You’ll have the chance to contribute creative ideas, learn industry best practices, and develop skills in social media strategy, content planning, and digital marketing.

What You’ll Do

Social Media Support

Engage with our community daily across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. Help organize content calendars, brainstorm creative ideas, and assist with short-form video concepts. Manage and update boards on social platforms to keep our digital presence fresh and engaging.

Website & Digital Content Support

Help maintain and update website content using WordPress. Assist with basic SEO tasks to improve page visibility. Draft and proofread written content, and support email marketing efforts using spreadsheets to track campaign performance such as open rates and engagement metrics.

Event & Experience Support

Assist with event planning and preparation, including day-of coordination, setup, and post-event follow-up tasks. Help with logistical details, vendor coordination, and administrative support as needed.

Administrative Support

Help organize client information, manage databases, assist with company gifting initiatives, and support various marketing and administrative requests that come up throughout the week.

Skills/background needed: Creative mindset with genuine interest in marketing, social media, and digital content. High comfort with Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok; familiarity with other social platforms is a bonus. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication. Comfortable learning new online tools and Microsoft Office. Ability to manage shifting priorities and work well independently. Personal laptop required for daily work.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Part Time, up to 16 hours per week (hours may vary based on project needs).

Schedule: Flexible hours structured to suit your availability and our workflow. Hours must fall between Tuesday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional evening support for events as needed.

Location: Local position available.
