About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to develop and deliver training curriculum on foundational technical topics. You’ll create instructional content and learning materials that help others build essential skills in a structured, supportive environment. This is a role where clear communication and the ability to break down complex concepts into accessible lessons are key.
What you’ll do:
• Write and structure technical curriculum and training materials for adult learners
• Develop lesson plans and instructional content that support hands-on technical learning
• Deliver clear, engaging training in a classroom or formal educational setting
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Create documentation that helps learners understand and apply technical concepts
Skills/background needed:
• Teaching certification or formal instructor qualification (such as CTT+, teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, or adjunct faculty certification) OR a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching technical content in a classroom, college, military, or industrial training setting
• Foundational knowledge of version control systems and collaborative development workflows
• Technical background or certification in cybersecurity fundamentals
• Ability to write clearly for non-specialist audiences
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in structured, formal educational or training environments
