About the role
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help create clear, accurate documentation for engineering and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical writing skills in a supportive environment where safety and quality are paramount.
You’ll work with engineering and project teams to translate complex technical information into documentation that’s easy to understand for operators, maintainers, and other users. You’ll develop and maintain technical guides, support document standards, and ensure all information is accurate and properly managed.
What you’ll be doing
• Create and maintain technical documentation for engineering projects
• Transform complex engineering and technical information into clear, user-friendly guides
• Help develop and manage document templates and writing standards
• Work with engineering, design, and project teams to gather and organise technical information
• Manage document versions and revisions to keep everything accurate and up to date
• Support a safety-focused workplace culture
Skills/background needed
• Strong written communication skills with careful attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and specifications
• Familiarity with document management and version control processes (we’ll provide full training)
• Interest in technical writing and documentation standards
• No prior experience required – we offer comprehensive training to get you up to speed
