About the role:

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our Operations team. You’ll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and organizing important operational documents that keep our business running smoothly. Working closely with teams across Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Facilities, and Quality Assurance, you’ll draft and revise documentation, coordinate reviews and approvals, and ensure all materials are clear, accurate, and well-organized.

No prior experience in this field is required – we provide full training and support to help you succeed. You’ll gain hands-on experience with document control systems, learn industry standards, and develop strong writing and organizational skills in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll do:

• Create, revise, and maintain operational documentation including procedures, work instructions, forms, and training materials
• Coordinate document reviews and approvals between different departments
• Organize and manage documentation archives and records
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Support document control activities using our electronic management system
• Assist with document reviews, updates, and version control
• Participate in operational meetings and support process improvement initiatives
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure all materials are clear and well-formatted

Skills/background needed:

• Strong written communication and basic document formatting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
• Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid vision abilities for computer work and document review

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (or relevant work experience)
• Experience working with document management systems
• Familiarity with operational or manufacturing processes
• Previous experience in a quality or regulatory environment
