Chat Support Agent – On-Site (Entry Level)

We’re looking for an Entry-Level Chat Support Agent to join our customer service team. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our local office location. You’ll work five days per week during standard business hours in a supportive team environment.

Position Overview

As a Chat Support Agent, you’ll help clients resolve their questions and concerns through live chat. You’ll work with multiple conversations at once, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear guidance to customers. This role combines problem-solving, communication, and technical support in a fast-paced environment where you’ll make a real difference in customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Issue Resolution – Respond promptly to client inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and find solutions. You’ll manage your workload to stay available and escalate complex issues when needed.

Client Focus – Build positive relationships with customers by listening carefully, understanding their needs, and communicating with clarity and empathy. You’ll manage multiple chats at the same time while maintaining quality interactions.

Timely Solutions – Work toward key service targets by staying available, using internal resources effectively, and delivering answers quickly.

System Navigation – Learn and use our internal systems to help customers. You’ll develop knowledge of our products and tools as part of your training.

Quality and Accuracy – Follow procedures to ensure data is correct and support is consistent. You’ll embrace feedback and adapt your approach as you grow in the role.

Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. We provide full training. You should have strong communication skills, the ability to type accurately, and comfort learning new software tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is helpful but not essential – we’ll train you on everything else.

Physical requirements: This role requires sitting at a desk for extended periods (typically 7–8 hours daily). You’ll use a computer, phone systems, and multiple software programs simultaneously.

Location: Local positions available. This is a full in-office role; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

Contract length: Full-time, permanent
