Role Summary:
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Live Chat Support Agent to join our customer service team. In this role, you’ll handle customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues via chat, email, and phone. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and play a key part in keeping them satisfied. No prior experience needed—we’ll train you on everything.
What You’ll Do:
• Receive and respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints through chat, email, phone, and fax
• Answer incoming customer calls, follow up on requests, and solve problems in real time
• Process customer orders and handle return requests and credits
• Create and maintain accurate computer records and process routine reports
• Identify and notify your manager of any potential problems or areas of concern
• Work carefully to prevent errors and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Learn about product features, pricing, and promotional services as part of your training
• Complete other tasks as assigned by your manager
Skills/Background Needed:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 0–2 years of customer support experience (or none—we’ll teach you)
• Excellent English, grammar, and communication skills (spoken and written)
• Professional, friendly manner and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Comfort using a computer, phone, and basic software like Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to multitask and manage several requests at once
• Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
Contract Length: Full time, permanent role
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. (hybrid work schedule)
Location: Local position with hybrid flexibility
