About this role:
We’re looking for a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help manage our online presence. You’ll work from home with flexible hours (around 20 hours per week) and support the planning, creation, and distribution of social media content across multiple platforms. This is a great entry-level opportunity to develop your skills in digital communications and content creation.
What you’ll do:
• Manage and maintain social media accounts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter
• Create, edit, and schedule engaging text, image, and video content
• Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media posts
• Respond to messages and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with teams to gather story ideas and stay current with social media trends
• Assist with event promotion and coverage through social media
• Support the creation of publicity materials such as flyers, newsletters, and announcements
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Skills/background needed:
• No prior experience required – full training provided
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Comfortable using design tools like Canva for creating visual content
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with basic photography and video content
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
