We’re looking for a creative and organized coordinator to help bring our organisation’s mission to life through visual storytelling, graphic design, and engaging content across all our platforms.
As our Social Media & Content Coordinator, you’ll be the primary creative resource for developing high-quality visual and written content for both print and digital platforms. You’ll work closely with our team to design branded materials, manage our social media presence, create engaging campaigns, and tell stories that inspire our community. No prior experience is necessary – we provide full training and support to help you succeed.
What you’ll do:
• Create engaging visual content including social media graphics, newsletters, flyers, brochures, advertisements, and website materials
• Develop and maintain branded templates and digital assets that keep our communications consistent and professional
• Create, schedule, and post content across social media, email, website, and other platforms
• Capture, edit, and organize photography and video content that shows our programs and community impact
• Work with our team to gather programme information and stories, then transform them into clear, compelling visuals
• Support marketing campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community events through creative materials and communications
• Help promote and execute organisational events, including marketing materials and coordination support
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality and consistency
• Keep up to date with trends in graphic design, digital marketing, social media, and communications
• Build positive working relationships with staff, donors, community partners, and stakeholders
• Represent our organisation at community events and meetings as needed
Skills/background needed:
• A creative, organised, and detail-oriented approach to work
• Basic proficiency with design tools such as Canva
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest)
• Experience with or willingness to learn Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• A passion for visual storytelling and mission-driven work
• Experience with graphic design, photography, or videography is a plus, but not required
• Interest in working for a community-focused organisation
