Process Documentation Writer – Healthcare (Entry Level, Remote)

Roles: You will create clear, step-by-step documentation for healthcare billing and payment processes. You’ll work with operations and quality teams to identify training needs, organize information, and support ongoing process improvements. You’ll maintain project materials, track deliverables, manage document storage systems, and conduct quality reviews as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Write detailed, easy-to-follow documentation for billing, payment follow-up, and denial management processes
• Collaborate with team members to identify skill gaps and coaching opportunities
• Coordinate meetings, organize information, and track follow-up items with support from your manager
• Provide clarification on processes and help with performance improvement
• Manage document storage and version control
• Review performance reports and ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Conduct quality assessments when needed

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full time

Skills/background needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to break down complex processes into clear, step-by-step instructions
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing priorities
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with document storage systems like SharePoint
• Familiarity with team communication tools
• Experience working in healthcare billing, payment processing, or related operations is a plus, but not required

Nice to have:

• Prior experience writing training materials or process documentation
• Experience creating educational content or curriculum
• Familiarity with AI writing tools
• Knowledge of data visualization tools
