About the role: We’re looking for a part-time medical writer to join our research team. You’ll work closely with researchers to help create clear, well-structured manuscripts and scholarly reports. This is a great opportunity to develop your writing skills in a supportive academic environment while contributing to meaningful research projects.
What you’ll do:
• Help develop and produce written research outputs alongside senior team members
• Collaborate on manuscript writing, including both qualitative and quantitative research reports
• Work with the team to plan and organize study materials and data for publication
• Contribute to revisions and improvements of collaborative manuscripts
• Track progress milestones and flag any adjustments needed to stay on schedule
• Support the broader research programme with clear, professional writing
Skills/background needed: No prior publishing experience required. We’re looking for someone with strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the academic publishing process. You should be organised, able to work collaboratively with researchers, and comfortable asking questions to understand complex scientific material.
