We’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Editor to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with our writing team, department managers, and subject-matter experts to proofread, edit, and publish internal guides, training manuals, job aids, and other written communications. You’ll help ensure all our internal documentation meets quality standards and is clear, consistent, and easy to follow.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute quality control checks on internal policies, procedures, and documentation. Copyedit and proofread documents from various teams and subject-matter experts. Collaborate with document owners to edit training guides, policies, and procedures. Format documents according to established branding and style standards. Maintain accurate records of the documentation management process. Keep version control of all internal published documents. Support the broader team with additional tasks as needed.
Skills & Background Needed
Strong grasp of English grammar, spelling, and syntax. Familiarity with editing style guides (such as Chicago Manual of Style) is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you. Comfortable learning new tools and software for document creation. Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills. Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication. Organised and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
This is an entry-level role—no prior professional experience required. We welcome applicants with a background in technical writing, English, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and the Microsoft Office suite is helpful. Full training will be provided to get you up to speed.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
