Job Summary:We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our engineering team. You’ll support the creation, editing, and authoring of technical documentation for complex systems and equipment. This is a great entry point into technical writing if you have some foundational knowledge in engineering or aerospace fields.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and revise technical orders, manuals, and instructional documents
• Work with engineers and subject matter experts to create clear technical instructions for new systems
• Incorporate engineering changes and verify technical accuracy
• Produce publication packages to industry standards
• Participate in technical reviews and quality assurance processes
• Support configuration management and quality reviews
Skills/background needed:Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and organisational ability; ability to read and understand technical documentation and procedural guides; good analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software; ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks; background in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical documentation is helpful, as is hands-on experience in maintenance or engineering fields.
Rate:Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length:Full-time, permanent position.
Location:Local position available. You will work on-site at the main office location. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, and site visits. A valid driver’s license is required.
