Overview:
This is an in-person, part-time position supporting retail locations during peak customer periods. You’ll work on-site at assigned stores, helping to create positive customer experiences through product engagement, education, and event support. The role combines customer interaction, merchandising, and event coordination throughout weekdays and weekends.
What You’ll Do:
• Engage warmly with customers, answer product questions, and suggest items based on their needs
• Host in-store sampling events and product demonstrations to introduce customers to new offerings
• Keep product displays clean, fully stocked, and visually appealing
• Update store signage and promotional materials as directed
• Provide brief training to store staff on customer service best practices and product knowledge
• Maintain a clean, organised work area following all food safety guidelines
• Transport and set up event materials including tables, utensils, and display items
• Travel between assigned retail locations as needed
• Complete additional tasks or projects as assigned
Skills/background needed:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable standing for extended periods (minimum 4 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 lbs.; push or pull up to 300 lbs.
• Able to work in refrigerated and freezer environments
• Basic computer skills
• Own reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different store locations
• Internet-enabled mobile phone
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment safely
• Good food safety and sanitation practices
• Positive, energetic attitude and genuine interest in helping customers
Experience in retail, customer service, or food preparation is helpful but not required. Full training will be provided on all products, techniques, and store procedures.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part time, ongoing.
