Role: You’ll support patients via phone and chat, answering questions about pharmacy services and helping them understand their options. You’ll access patient records, review their medical needs, and communicate clearly about how our services can help them.
What you’ll do:
• Make outbound calls to patients to introduce pharmacy services and answer questions• Access patient records to understand their medical situation before reaching out• Identify any special medication needs (such as storage requirements or necessary supplies)• Explain pharmacy services in a friendly, empathetic way• Build rapport quickly with patients and help them feel heard• Communicate professionally via phone and email using standard office tools• Learn new processes and implement them with attention to detail• Perform other duties as assigned
Skills you’ll need:
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills• Ability to listen actively and empathize with patients’ situations• Comfort working independently with a focus on patient wellbeing• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook• Ability to learn new systems quickly• A positive, results-focused approach• Attention to detail• Any prior customer service or outbound calling experience is a plus, but not required
Experience/Education needed:
• High school diploma or equivalent required• 0–1 years’ experience in pharmacy or related customer-facing roles (or no experience at all – we provide full training)• A pharmacy technician licence or national certification is preferred but not required; if needed, we’ll support your path to certification• Solid computer skills and comfort with web-based platforms
