Content Creator – Local Social Media Remote

About the role

We’re looking for content creators with a genuinely local audience to produce social media content on our behalf. You’ll create authentic posts, reels, and stories for our channels, keeping full creative control over your format, tone, and editing while we provide talking points and handle fact-checking.

This is freelance project-based work. No prior experience with branded content is required — we’re looking for creators who know their audience and can speak to them naturally.

What you’ll create

A typical six-week project includes:

• 3 short-form videos (30–60 seconds each, in your own style)
• 2 story sets (3–5 frames each with link stickers)
• 1 static post or carousel (optional)
• Usage rights for 90 days on paid social and owned channels

We don’t write scripts for you. You keep creative control over everything — we only review for accuracy and proper disclosure before posting.

Who we’re looking for

You should have a local audience of roughly 1,000 to 25,000 followers concentrated in a specific geographic area. Genuine engagement matters far more than follower count — if your comments come from people who actually live in your community, that’s ideal.

We work with parents, fitness professionals, wellness advocates, and community accounts. You do not need to be a client yourself or have a personal story tied to our services.

Important: Sponsorship disclosure

Every piece of sponsored content you post must include a clear, visible disclosure that viewers see without clicking “more” or scrolling. Use your platform’s paid partnership tool and include the word “Ad” or “Sponsored” in the first line of your caption and as on-screen text in any video. We suggest opening with “Paid partnership with [our name].”

Hashtag-only disclosures buried at the end do not meet requirements — we’ll ask for a repost if disclosure isn’t prominent.

Content guidelines — please do:

• Talk about the clinic experience — the visit, the team, the credentials
• Mention that services treat whole-family health, not just one focus area
• Say plainly that you were paid for the post
• Share your honest opinion, including any reservations or limitations

Content guidelines — please do not:

• Post before/after photos, weight numbers, clothing sizes, or transformation imagery
• Name specific prescription medications or brand names
• Promise, imply, or quantify results (“lose X pounds,” “guaranteed,” etc.)
• Describe anyone’s medical care in identifying detail
• Criticize other local providers
• Suggest anyone stop, start, or change a medication
• Answer medical questions from followers — direct them to call the office instead

How it works

1. You receive a brief and a simple written agreement with deliverables, fee, and timeline
2. Optional: a brief call or clinic visit so you have real material to work with
3. You draft content; we review only for medical accuracy and disclosure compliance, not for tone
4. You post on the agreed schedule
5. Invoice on completion; payment within 15 days of final delivery

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application. Fees are a flat amount agreed in writing before work begins, set based on your audience size and engagement level.
