We’re looking for an entry-level Content Publisher to join our growing team. An ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about literature and storytelling. Publishing is a people-driven industry, and we pride ourselves on building strong working relationships with authors, partners, and collaborators.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential titles for the catalogue
Negotiate with authors, publishers, and literary agents to acquire rights and permissions
Monitor published titles’ performance and gather feedback
Collaborate with production teams to guide scripting, adaptation, and casting decisions
Maintain active relationships with authors, publishers, and licensors throughout the entire production lifecycle
Conduct research and analysis to assess project viability and track down rights holders
Skills/background needed:
Passion for literature and storytelling
Self-starter mentality with the ability to identify high-potential opportunities
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Independent problem-solver with creative thinking
Highly organized with strong time management
Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound judgement calls
Good instincts for content and audience fit
No prior publishing experience required – full training provided
Preferred experience:
Publishing, research, or related industry background
Specialized knowledge or strong interests in specific genres or niches
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent
Location: Fully remote – work from anywhere
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Eastern Time
