About the role:

We’re looking for a Copy Editor to join our growing editorial team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all our written content—across digital platforms, packaging, marketing materials, and more—is clear, accurate, and on-brand.

In this position, you’ll proofread and edit a wide range of content including product listings, packaging, manuals, blogs, emails, social media posts, and marketing campaigns. You’ll work closely with marketing, design, legal, and technical teams to maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging. Your attention to detail will be essential as you review content for grammar, clarity, tone, and usability.

You’ll also help refine our internal style guides, stay current with industry best practices, and provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high editorial standards.

What you’ll do:

• Proofread, edit, and review content across all platforms to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency
• Conduct final reviews of campaigns and marketing materials to ensure error-free, cohesive messaging
• Maintain attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
• Stay updated on industry trends, style guides, and best practices in editing
• Oversee rewrites and restructuring of content to improve readability and usability
• Enforce brand voice, editorial guidelines, and style standards across all published materials
• Provide strong editorial feedback to writers and content creators
• Collaborate with marketing, legal, design, and product teams on content quality and compliance
• Help develop and maintain internal style guides and editing standards
• Review third-party content to ensure it meets brand and usability standards

Skills/background needed:

• Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and proofreading
• Experience with editing style guides such as AP Stylebook or Chicago Manual of Style
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with content review platforms (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to give clear, constructive feedback
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Previous editing experience preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to develop their skills

Why join us:

We offer a supportive work environment where you’ll grow your editorial expertise. You’ll receive full training in our processes and tools, work with a collaborative team, and have the opportunity to make a real impact on our content quality. We provide comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K matching, paid time off, and a fully stocked kitchen.

If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about clear communication, and ready to develop your editing career in a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.
