Social Media Content Creator – Part Time Remote

About This Role

This is a part-time, ongoing position supporting multiple clients across social media platforms. You’ll create engaging content, write captions that match brand voice, manage accounts, organize workflows, and communicate regularly with team and clients. This role requires you to work independently with confidence in professional-grade tools and social media strategy.

What You’ll Do

Edit video using industry-standard software at an intermediate to advanced level. Design graphics and carousel content in Canva with a polished, consistent eye. Manage day-to-day content across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Stay current on platform trends and updates. Organize content workflows and approval processes. Communicate with clients and team through various messaging tools. Post content on schedule and adapt quickly when timelines shift. Work independently once given clear direction. Maintain a portfolio you can speak to in detail.

Skills/background needed: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in social media management and content creation. Minimum 5 years of hands-on professional experience with video editing software, Canva, and graphic design tools. Strong portfolio with specific accounts or campaigns you personally created. Self-directed work style with excellent time management. Attention to detail—typos, off-brand tone, and sloppy exports are not acceptable. Instinct for what works on social platforms, not just what’s trending broadly. Prompt, direct communication style. Comfortable working in project management and workflow tools. Able to commit to consistent weekly hours, with occasional evening or weekend availability. Familiarity with the film and production industry is a strong plus.

Contract length: Ongoing, part-time

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Location: Remote, with availability required during Pacific Time business hours.
