Key Responsibilities
Interview clients to understand their vision, goals, and personalityUse video conferencing to connect with clientsHelp clients identify the most relevant stories and anecdotes for their bookCompile client ideas into a flowing, cohesive outlineDevelop the outline into a compelling narrativeAdopt the client’s voice so the book reads as if written by themFact-check client material when requiredWrite the manuscript based on an approved outline and agreed-upon deadlinesIncorporate client feedback during the revision processWork with editors and publishing specialists to produce a finished manuscript
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Project-based
Skills/background needed: Strong writing ability, ability to interview and listen actively, organizational skills, attention to detail, experience adopting different writing styles. No prior ghostwriting experience necessary—full training and support provided.
Location: Fully remote—work from home or anywhere with an internet connection.
