Junior Product Marketing Writer – Remote

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Writer to help explain what our platform does in clear, plain language — so customers understand it, sales teams can talk about it with confidence, and users feel good about their choice.

You’ll work closely with our product, sales, customer success, and leadership teams. Whenever someone needs to explain a feature or compare against a competitor, you’ll be the person creating that messaging.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll build the messaging foundation from the ground up. You won’t be following an existing playbook — you’ll be creating one.

What you’ll do

• Create competitive comparison documents (battlecards) based on real customer wins and losses, not just feature lists

• Write sales enablement materials — objection handlers, discovery guides, and one-pagers — that your sales team will actually use

• Partner with sales leadership to review wins and losses, then turn those learnings into sharper messaging

• Lead go-to-market messaging for new product releases, including internal alignment, external announcements, and copy across all channels

• Translate product roadmap items into language that speaks to the people actually using the platform

• Keep our positioning and core messaging updated as the market and product evolve

• Work with our customer growth team on product updates, platform notices, and expansion messaging

• Write executive and board narratives that connect product progress to business outcomes

• Ground all messaging in what customers have actually said and done, not assumptions

• Review customer feedback carefully — flag unclear or leading feedback before it becomes messaging

Skills and background needed

• Experience in product marketing or B2B marketing with strong sales enablement experience (creating materials sales teams actually use)

• Strong writing skills — able to write everything from quick objection handlers to detailed board narratives

• Comfort working in ambiguous situations and building processes from scratch

• Ability to translate complex or technical capabilities into language that end users understand, without oversimplifying

• Healthy skepticism about feedback — you ask “how do we know this?” before building messaging on it

• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms or CRM systems is a plus

What we offer

• Fully remote, work-from-home position

• Comprehensive health and wellness benefits

• Flexible paid time off

• Retirement plan with employer matching
