Live Chat Agent – Entry Level (Work From Home)

Roles: You’ll be one of the first points of contact for clients. Your main tasks will include answering incoming chats, providing information about services, scheduling appointments, following up with potential clients, and helping create an excellent customer experience from start to finish.

This is more than a basic support role. We’re looking for someone comfortable communicating with people, building relationships, and turning incoming inquiries into booked appointments. The position also includes follow-up chats, appointment tracking, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming chats, emails, and messages in a friendly and professional manner; Provide clients with information about services and pricing; Schedule and coordinate appointments; Convert incoming inquiries into booked appointments; Follow up with potential clients who haven’t yet scheduled; Send confirmation messages for upcoming appointments; Follow up with clients after completed services to ensure satisfaction and answer basic questions; Communicate with team members, clients, and other parties involved; Maintain and update appointment schedules and customer information; Accurately document chats, appointments, cancellations, and follow-ups; Process basic administrative tasks and assist with customer paperwork when needed; Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate; Make relationship-building outreach to key contacts; Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Skills/background needed:

Excellent written communication skills; Strong customer service skills and comfort using multiple computer programs simultaneously; Comfortable working on a computer throughout most of the workday; Professional, friendly, and positive attitude; Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures; Reliable, punctual, and accountable; Comfortable learning new computer programs and systems; Able to work independently without constant supervision; Able to remain calm and professional when handling customer concerns; Previous experience in customer service, scheduling, administrative support, or a related field is helpful but not required.

Work From Home Requirements:

This is a fully remote position. You’ll need a designated, quiet workspace where you can work without excessive background noise or frequent interruptions. Reliable high-speed internet and a reliable computer suitable for a full workday of chat and computer-based work are essential. Working from a shared or frequently interrupted space would not be appropriate for this role.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Expected hours: 20-40 hours per week (flexible)
