About the Role:
We’re looking for a Proposal Writer to join our team and help us grow by creating compelling written proposals. You’ll work with internal teams to develop proposals that win business, working closely with project managers and technical experts. This is a fully remote role perfect for someone who loves writing and has a passion for clear communication.
What You’ll Do:
• Interview program staff and subject matter experts to gather information and develop proposal content• Review and edit proposal writing from team members to improve overall quality• Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and meets client requirements• Evaluate and improve proposal quality through peer review• Help guide and mentor less experienced writers• Use AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining unique voice and detail• Create presentation slides and briefing scripts as needed alongside written proposals
Skills/Background Needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to understand and explain complex technical information clearly• Experience reading and responding to detailed project requirements• Critical thinking skills and attention to detail• Comfort learning and using AI writing tools• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
Experience Required:
You should have at least 10 years of proposal writing experience, or equivalent experience in related fields. Previous experience writing business proposals is strongly preferred.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
